Winter Recreation

Whether your passion is skiing, skating, hockey, ice fishing, snowmobiling, or tobogganing it is all available in Charlton Dack.

Snowmobilers can enjoy one day or all weekend on their sleds. Snowmobile the lakeshore or local trails even joining up to the Ontario Federation of Snowmobilers Groomed trails, that run across the province.

During the winter months many can be seen on local lakes and rivers fishing from their ice hunts or just sitting on a bucket trying to catch the big one that once got away.

Downtown Charlton is home to a beautifully covered outdoor Ice Rink. The Ice Rink Shack allows for a quick warm up before returning to the ice. Whether, you play hockey or just learning to skate, it’s the coolest place to be.

Cross country skiing at Kap-Kig-a-wan will treat you to a wonderland of scenic beauty or just ski the lake shore until you can go no further.

Summer Recreation

On holidays? Come relax at our local camp grounds or do some boating on our local lakes.

Camping is available in Charlton at Rosepoint Lodge and Jamieson's Cottages and Camping Lodges.
